The Churches and Ministries of Poland are Overwhelmed with Ukranian Refugees!

The world has watched in horror as Russia began a full-scale invasion of Ukraine on February 24 2022, in an escalation of the Russo-Ukrainian War that began in 2014. This invasion is the largest conventional military attack on a sovereign state in Europe since World War II. Within days, refugees began fleeing Ukraine to neighboring countries. Currently the number of refugees is at 2.8 million and the EU says it expects 5 million may end up fleeing war.

With more than 1.6 million Ukrainians crossing into its territory as of mid-March, Poland has received by far the most refugees. Sharing a border with Ukraine's northwest, Poland has become a first stop for those who may be seeking refuge in neighboring countries. Xtend Ministries International has been on the border seeking to find best ways in helping these suffering refugees, the majority of which are women and children. The churches of Poland have responded to this crisis by marshaling all their resources to meet the vast needs. Thousands are being housed in church buildings and given food, clothing, medicines, personal care items, transportation, and much more. However, the funds needed for this rescue operation far exceed their resource. We are helping with these needs but we need your help to maintain this support.
